When I'm trying to rip a CD, I'm getting an unhelpful message, "There was an error creating 6 files."

There is no link on the dialog for further information.  

There is an advanced option for logging to /var/log/asunder.log; but that file does not exist (perhaps elevated privileges are needed to log to a system directory?)

BTW, I'm running Asunder 2.9.7 under Pop_OS (Ubuntu variant) 21.04.  2.9.7 isn't in the bugzilla list.
