Yeah, and my prose is gold."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Too many people I know have been telling me in the last few years how wonderful and beautiful markdown is. I never believed them, because I have quite a bit of experience with wiki markup, whose proponents have been saying exactly the same things about wiki markup for several years prior to markdown&#8217;s release.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few minutes ago I had to read some documentation for installing a piece of software I just cloned off Github (there&#8217;s an obvious rant there for another time). I&#8217;ve written Perl code as a student that was more readable than that.<\/p>\n<p>Bah, it never ends.
